ALERT ALERT THE FOLLOWING PICTURES WILL FORCE YOU TO MAKE THIS BEAUTIFUL CAKE!

I came home from my family holiday to find a load of blueberries and tubs of greek yoghurt in my fridge, after questioning why we had so many of these items i was shown the following website: http://juliasalbum.com (will take you to actual recipe page but please do look at all of the recipes)

After gazing at the beautiful pictures i decided i needed to make this cake and guess what guys? I did! and i'm so happy i did too.

I managed to actually get the cake in the oven before eating all of the batter, i kid you not when i say it's the best batter i've ever tasted, and this was the outcome:

  1. Courtney, this looks beautiful! Thank you for leaving such a nice comment on my blog! The blueberries look huge! Maybe, they are different in UK compared to American blueberries? :) I am so excited when people from Europe comment on my blog and try my recipes, because I am very interested to know how US recipes turn out with European flour. I know that European flour is very different from US flour in many ways - they way it's milled, the fact that it's soft, has less gluten, etc. (in fact, I will be buying some soon). Do you use cups when you measure flour, etc., or do you weight it?

    1. I've never baked using american flour and had no idea it was any different. Will definitly have to get my hands on some and experiment!
I much prefer weighing in cups rather than weighing it so loved using your recipe for that. If the recipe I'm doing happens to use measurments then I usually just go with those same measurments rather than messing around and converting into cups. I made another one of your recipes the other day (Apple Crumb Coffee Cake With Caramel Sauce) and I was not surprised to discover it was just as good as this cake. Will be making more of your recipes soon no doubt. Thank you so much for replying too, It really is amazing how you reply to almost all of your comments.
